Had quite an artblock for some time in regards to paleoart but then finally got the breakthrough with my favorite dinosaur. Decided to go for this underwatery angle for atmosphere, practise and cause it's an angle where you don't see the sail. Yes, the sail is the trademark for big ol' Spino but especially considering that I think it adds some flavor, plus in nature photography you don't always get the "perfect shot" so to say.
Colour scheme is adapted from my last Spinosaurus from way back (October 2014, though he did make a cameo in 2015) and as per usual for my freshwater pics, there's lungfish present.
